On Saturday morning, March 8, the Waisman Center hosted what we hope to be the first of annual updates on research on Alexander disease, presented as an interactive webinar by Albee Messing, VMD PhD, Professor of Neuropathology, University of Wisconsin-Madison.

This presentation consisted of a brief overview of Alexander disease (genetics, diagnosis, classification systems) followed by an update on recent research, concentrating on publications that appeared during 2013.
